"Arabian Nights" is an Italian film from 1974 whose original title translates from Italian as "The Flower of the 1,001 Nights." It main plotline concerns Nur-e-Din, a man who falls for the charms of his slave Zumurrud. After Zumurrud becomes abducted, Nur-e-Din quests to seek her out. Zumurrud soon evades her captors by posing as a man and becoming the ruler of a far-off land. The film features several other B-plots from the perspective of traveling storytellers. There are two cuts of this film; a 125 minute length version and the lost original, which features an additional 30 minutes.
