Robert is not having an easy time of things. Not only has he just lost his job at his father's company, but he was fired by the same man he hired to turn the business around. To top it off, his girlfriend is leaving him for that same man. Robert just cannot catch a break. Just as he thinks his world is falling apart though, he meets Morgan at a local bookstore. Though he's hooked right away, she's a little hesitant. He enlists his hustler of a cousin to help him get her attention. As it turns out, Robert and Morgan are pretty nearly perfect for one another. Just as their relationship gets off the ground though, his ex-girlfriend and her ex-husband come back into the picture, both scheming to keep the couple apart for their own reasons.

As the duo battle one obstacle after another, they may find that some of the most difficult situations create the most happy endings.
