Watch Bridge of the Doomed

During a Zombie Outbreak small pockets of the military are organizing and fighting back. At one Army Camp GENERAL VASQUEZ has established a Safe Zone, an area for the Army to regroup and prepare to take back the country. The only gap in the Zone is a bridge over a fast flowing river, a bridge towards which a large group of Zombies have been reported moving.

Vasquez sends a small group of soldiers commanded by LT WHITMORE to secure the bridge. Their orders are to wire it with explosives and wait for reinforcements. If the reinforcements don't arrive in time, their orders are to blow the bridge and fall back to the camp.

After reaching the bridge the soldiers make contact with a group of human survivors. They are advised to resettle over the river where they can be protected. The Survivors have travelled too far and are now worn down, convinced it is the End Of Times and they are waiting to be judged.

That night the explosives are interfered with. The soldiers assume it is an animal, but then the soldiers start dying and they catch glimpses of THE THING, a fast moving shape they can't identify.

In the morning a grave for one of the soldiers has been dug up and the body taken away. During the search for the body The Thing attacks and kills Whitmore. Now SGT HERNANDEZ is in charge of just a few remaining soldiers.

The next day a soldier is abducted by The Thing, his screams heard as he is taken away. Hernandez tells the remaining soldiers she is going to find him. Their orders are to stay, and if the Zombies arrive, blow the bridge.

With Hernandez gone the soldiers hear screaming from the Survivors camp. Disobeying their orders they go to the camp to rescue as many of the people as possible.

Hernadez tracks down the The Thing to its lair, and in a one to one battle, kills it.

At The Survivors camp the last two soldiers rescue two of the survivors and on the way back they meet Hernandez. With the Zombies coming Hernandez decides to blow the bridge, but the explosives won't work. Making a final stand to allow the others to escape, she is overwhelmed by the Zombies.

The car attempts to cross the bridge but gets stuck. The Zombies swarm all over the car. Death is certain, when at the last minute the reinforcements arrive. The Zombies are shot down by wave after wave of gunfire.

The Bridge has been held. The Safety Zone is secure, and later the soldiers will cross the bridge to start taking back the country.

Bridge of the Doomed is a 2022 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 22 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.5.
