Brindavanam (2010) is a Telugu romantic comedy-drama film directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. The film stars veteran actor Rajendra Prasad, leading lady Ramya Krishna and NTR Jr. in the pivotal roles. Brindavanam was a commercial success and received positive reviews from the critics and audiences alike. The film revolves around the story of Bhoomi (Kajal Aggarwal), the daughter of a wealthy industrialist who is engaged to her childhood friend Subbu (Ajay). However, Bhoomi's father (Prakash Raj) is against their marriage due to Subbu's middle-class background. In order to resolve the issue, Bhoomi comes up with a plan to hire Indu (Samantha), a young woman from a poor family, to pretend to be her lover and make Subbu jealous. However, things take an unexpected turn when Indu falls in love with Bhoomi's cousin Krish (NTR Jr.), who is visiting from abroad.

Krish, who initially comes across as a carefree and lively person, soon realizes that there is more to the family feud than meets the eye. He gradually develops a bond with each member of Bhoomi's family including her father, who is suffering from a severe illness. Krish is also impressed by Indu's selfless nature, hard work and determination to succeed despite her unfortunate circumstances.

The highlight of the film is the performances from the ensemble cast, especially Rajendra Prasad and Ramya Krishna who play Bhoomi's parents. Their chemistry is endearing and brings a lot of warmth to the film. NTR Jr. delivers a solid performance as Krish, exuding charm and confidence in equal measure. Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal also put in noteworthy performances and have impressive screen presence.

The music by S. Thaman is another standout feature of the film. The songs, composed and sung in a melodious way, perfectly complement the emotional narrative of the film. In particular, the song 'Vasthane Vasthane' stands out for its catchy tune and playful choreography.

The cinematography by Chota K. Naidu is visually stunning and captures the beauty of the countryside areas of India. The art direction by Anand Sai is also commendable, with the sets and locations perfectly replicating the feel of a traditional Indian household.

Overall, Brindavanam is a well-made film with a solid storyline, excellent performances and memorable musical score. The film’s themes of family bonds, empathy and selflessness are universal and relatable. Brindavanam is highly recommended for those who enjoy romantic comedies with a touch of drama and emotional depth.
