Call Me is an erotic thriller film that was written by Karyn Kay and directed by Sollace Mitchell. The film features a cast including Patricia Charbonneau, Boyd Gaines and Stephen McHattie. Set in New York City, the story revolves around Anna (played by Patricia Charbonneau), a flighty and very easily persuaded woman. After a shower one day, she gets a call from a guy she decides to believe is her boyfriend, Bill (played by Boyd Gaines), despite the fact that he really sounds nothing like him. Believing that Bill has instructed her to meet up with him at a local bar, she does as she is told and does not wear any panties. She still is convinced it is Bill who is asking her to do this, even though this is totally out of character for him. When Anna gets to the bar, she finally figures out that the call she got was not from her boyfriend. When she realizes this, she runs to the ladies' restroom. In the next stall, a corrupt police officer is murdering a man who is dressed as a woman. She is a prostitute, and he had been trying to collect his extortion money. Anna is unsure if this incident has anything to do with the caller. Anna tells Bill about what happened, and he does not seem to understand what is happening. The caller rings her up again. Terrified, she talks to him in order to ensure her safety. She continues to talk to him every time he calls and ultimately falls for him. His name turns out to be Jellybean (Stephen McHattie), and they begin a torrid affair. There is a scene where the couple uses an orange to pleasure themselves. Despite having met under dubious circumstances, it seems as though the couple has a lot in common and will continue to see each other.
