This is a dramatic biographical movie about a sculptor who is confined in an asylum. Camille Claudel spent her life working as a sculptor. When she gets older, she begins destroying her own works of art. She becomes paranoid that her former boyfriend is out to get her. Seeing this behavior, her brother has her committed to an asylum in the south of France. Refusing to believe she is suffering from mental illness, Claudel tries to convince the doctors to release her. When she cannot, her only hope is that her brother will visit. Once he is there, she is convinced she can make him see she is no longer ill.
