Carom Shots

Carom Shots is a drama released in 1951. It was directed by Claude Autant-Lara. When a band of travelers, a monk, and an innkeeper come together in an out of the way hotel, a plot for murder ensues. Knowing the laws of holy secrecy, the innkeeper confides in the monk that he regularly poisons his guests and then buries the bodies so that he can steal their money and possessions. While struggling to operate under the sanctity of holy secrecy, the monk tries to save the lives of all the other guests.
