Chaturanga is a Bengali film that was released in 2008. The film is based on the novel by Rabindranath Tagore. Chaturanga is about a love that has found itself between a world of conflicting views and ideas. The film is set at the turn of 20th century, so there appears to be a great switching of desires and moralities in the film. Sachish ultimately flees from radical positivism to find more meaning to life. In the end, however, he does not find a purpose in his transformation from radical positivism to religious mysticism. This is all due to the presence of two women who are deemed to be very powerful who play a large role in his life.
