Based on a real tale, this film tells the story of a German woman who found herself with the chance for a new life with an American fiance. Unfortunately, she finds herself under the scrutiny of a driven investigator who is determined to make her deal with a secret she has been keeping for quite some time. Before she is able to leave her war-ravaged city to seek out her future, she will need to face her past.
