Crime Story is a Hong Kong action film from the year 1993. Eddie Chan is an officer who must cope with severe guilt over causing the death of multiple men through self-defense in the past, while keeping on the trail of Wong Yat-fei, a kidnapped tycoon. This quest takes Eddie away from the streets of Hong Kong and toward Taiwan, home of several mob bosses. Issues are further compounded by the presence of a mole within the police department, sabotaging Eddie's work at every turn. Eddie must tackle not only the mob from without but also his demons from within.
