Daawat-e-Ishq is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy-drama film directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Taru is initially unaware of Gullu's true intentions and falls in love with her. However, when he finds out the truth, he is heartbroken and feels betrayed. Gullu tries to explain her actions, but Taru refuses to listen to her. As the story progresses, Taru and Gullu's relationship becomes strained, and Gullu realizes that her plan to extort money from men was wrong. She decides to come clean and confess her crimes to Taru. Taru forgives her, and they decide to start over. The rest of the movie follows Taru and Gullu's attempts to get their families to accept their relationship, and their journey towards a happily-ever-after.
