Doll Face

Doll Face Carroll makes a living as a burlesque queen, but she wants more for her career. When she has a chance at a real acting job, the powers-that-be reject her because of her past jobs. Her manager pushes her to write an autobiography because he thinks it will help boost her career. He hires a ghostwriter to do the actual writing. When Carroll and the writer get together to work on the book, things take a strange turn and the manager’s idea might not work out as well as he thought it would. The pair have other things on their minds.
