Doodh Ka Karz is a 1990 Bollywood film starring Jackie Shroff, Neelam Kothari, and Prem Chopra in lead roles. Directed by Ashok Gaikwad, the movie is a typical masala entertainer with a mix of action, drama, romance, and comedy. The plot revolves around a small village in which an evil landlord, Thakur Gajendra Singh (Amrish Puri), exploits the poor farmers by charging hefty taxes on their lands. The farmers are struggling to make their ends meet, and many of them are unable to pay the dues, as a result of which they are subjected to barbaric punishments by the Thakur's men.

In the midst of this turmoil, enters a young man named Suraj (Jackie Shroff), who is initially mistaken for a thief and gets beaten up by the Thakur's men. But soon, it is revealed that he is the son of a deceased farmer who had borrowed a huge amount of money from Thakur, and Suraj has come to repay the debt. However, the Thakur refuses to accept the money and instead insists on taking Suraj's mother, who is suffering from a fatal disease, as collateral. Suraj, who is distraught by this offer, decides to stay back in the village and fight against the Thakur's injustice.

Meanwhile, Suraj falls in love with the Thakur's daughter, Kajal (Neelam Kothari), who is portrayed as a kind-hearted and compassionate person. Kajal too reciprocates his feelings and supports him in his fight for justice. The couple's romance is portrayed through some soulful songs and picturesque locations.

As Suraj's popularity in the village grows, he becomes a thorn in the Thakur's flesh, and the latter hatches a devious plan to get rid of him. He invites Suraj and the other villagers to a feast and poisons the food, which results in the death of many people, including Suraj's mother, and leaves several others critically ill. Suraj is devastated by the tragedy and vows to avenge the deaths of his loved ones. He decides to use the Thakur's greed for money as a weapon and demands that the latter pay a hefty compensation to the affected families. The Thakur agrees to the demand, but with a hidden agenda.

The climax of the movie is full of action and suspense, as Suraj and the Thakur engage in a deadly cat-and-mouse game. There are some intense fight sequences and revelations that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The movie ends with justice being served, and Suraj and Kajal reuniting with a promise to live happily ever after.

Overall, Doodh Ka Karz is an entertaining movie that successfully blends various genres and has a strong message of standing up against injustice. Jackie Shroff shines in his role as the protagonist, and Neelam Kothari is charming as his love interest. Prem Chopra and Amrish Puri are excellent as the antagonists, and their performances add weight to the storyline. The music of the movie is catchy and enjoyable, with some evergreen tracks like "Shuru Ho Rahi Hai Prem Kahani" and "Tumhein Dil Se Kaise Juda Hum Karenge." If you're a fan of old-school Bollywood movies, Doodh Ka Karz is definitely worth a watch.
