She's an assassin for hire known only as Elektra (Jennifer Garner), who uses an agent to get her new assignments. Her ability to take a life does not require guns, rather she can be seen using a crossbow and a pair of large knives, or Sai. With a reputation for being one of the best assassins around, she is in high demand, however, she chooses her work wisely, and is even somewhat paranoid after a job has been completed, making certain that no trace of her existence is left behind. Electra is fluent in the field of Kimagure, a form of martial arts that gives the student some interesting powers, which include being able to bring someone back from the dead. There is a fair amount of planning that goes into putting together her assignments and that is why when she is given a contract to take a life, she seldom deviates from the goal, and always gets her mark, leaving nothing to chance. While waiting for her next assignment, Elektra encountered a young lady who supposedly broke into the house she was staying in, and tried to steal a chain and pendant which were sentimentally valuable to her. Elektra is later invited to the girls' house under the pretext that her widowed father invited her. After accepting the invitation for Christmas dinner, Elektra began to form an attachment for the two, only to be informed the next day that they are her intended targets. When she attempts to carry out her assignment, Elektra decides that she would not do it and calls her agent to cancel, only to be told that replacements would be sent to complete the mission she refused. As she tries to leave the island, Elektra realizes that she is unable to abandon the father and daughter to other assassins and gathers up her daggers to protect the pair from certain death. Rob Bowman directs this action movie which stars Goran Visnjic as Mark Miller and Kirsten Prout as his daughter Abby.
