Elektra then makes her way to a deserted island where she takes up residence and tries to leads a peaceful life. But her tranquility is disturbed when a father and daughter, Mark and Abby Miller (Goran Visnjic and Kirsten Prout), move into the neighboring house. The Hand, on the other hand, sends their own assassins after Elektra, including the gifted ninja Kirigi (Will Yun Lee). Elektra's fight with the Hand becomes personal when she discovers that Kirigi is the one who killed her mother when she was a child.

As the Hand closes in on them, Elektra trains Abby in martial arts and weapons to prepare her for the impending battle. Elektra, too, has to hone her own skills and courage to defeat her foes, who are determined to take her back into the organization, dead or alive.
