Throughout the film, the chemistry between De Mornay and Gross is excellent. De Mornay brings a tough, no-nonsense attitude to her role, while Gross provides comic relief with her wide-eyed innocence. Together, they make for a great buddy cop duo, bouncing off each other in a way that feels natural and believable.

But while Feds is primarily a comedy, it also has some serious moments. In particular, there's a subplot involving Ellie's troubled past that adds some weight to the story. We learn that she's been in and out of jail for much of her life, and that she's trying to turn over a new leaf by becoming an FBI agent. This gives her character some depth and makes her more than just a one-dimensional tough girl.

Overall, Feds is a lot of fun. It's a lighthearted comedy with plenty of goofy moments and likable characters. Sure, it's not exactly a groundbreaking film, but it's an enjoyable way to spend an evening.
