The film Feel the Noise was a film written by Albert Leon. The movie is based on the life of a young kid who had dreams of becoming a rapper, but he is out of the streets of New York where life is hard and reaching for your dreams is even harder. The director Alejandro Chomski was able to capture a culture and speak to the masses about the world of hip hop in a light that had not been shined prior to the release of this movie. Omarion, Giancarlo Esposito, Victor Rasuk and James McCaffrey come together in a perfect blend to portray the characters that give life to the scenes in, "Feel the Noise." The influence of Jennifer Lopez as the producer of this film is obvious as she lends her years of dance experience to the characters that creates a great mix of dance styles and dramatic moves. The drama of this movie comes into play when the lead actor has some run ins with local thugs that forces him to relocate to Puerto Rico and forces him to spend time with the father he never knew. This opens up his world to whole new aspect of life and way of living. He is introduced to his culture, a part of himself that he never knew and a part of himself that allows him to become complete. The movie speaks to reaching for your dreams, broken homes, children without a father present in the home. an entire generation of youth can relate to all aspects of this film that addresses so many poignant issues and delivers results that give hope to a generation of neglected youth, torn families, and other wise lost individuals. It is the story and the heart felt message of growing up and finding yourself completely that makes this a great film for the ages.
