When you're given the diagnosis of cystic fibrosis there's not much to do except come to terms with your own death. William decides to do just that. He consciously starts a very fulfilling hobby of shopping for coffins. He ponders exactly what kind of coffins would be his best fit. Things were going fine till his friend Bobby dies and Bobby's will tells him he has to carry Bobby's ashes to a healing shrine in Mexico. Thus begins the very funny movie Foreverland. On this adventure is Bobby's sister and a car that is pieced together from the parts of many other different cars. As the two drive down the coast of California, a relationship forms and they begin to wonder exactly what they are going to find in Mexico and why Bobby thought it was so important for the both of them to make this drive. If this truly is a healing shrine, could William be saved from his premature death, or will he merely drop off the ashes and fill one of the coffins he has been shopping for?
