God Help the Girl is a 2014 British musical drama film that portrays the life of a troubled girl named Eve. Eve has some emotional problems which lead her to develop a condition known as anorexia nervosa. She is eventually put into a psychiatric hospital where she is treated. Eventually, she escapes from this facility and ends up at a gig where where she meets an aspiring songwriter named James and a guitar student named Cassie. As they start to build their relationships they encounter problems and challenges which ultimately sends Eve back to her psych ward.
