This delightfully made motion picture tells the tale of a group of people during the Civil War. The movie is a portrayal of the timeline leading up to the epic battle between the Merrimac and Monitor. During an unbelievable battle, Kenneth who is an officer, is being ordered to burn the Merrimac. After sinking the Merrimac instead of burning it like he was supposed to, Kenneth has been discharged. Shortly after, he is recommissioned to fight again and ends up in another amazing battle. It is in this battle that a horrific killing takes place, which will have a lasting effect on Kenneth and his immediate family's lives.
