After finding a baby fox on the side of the road, Taichi befriends the little critter and the two are inseparable. He decides that it is in the best interest of the fox to get proper care, therefore takes it to someone who looks after sick and abandoned animals. Feeling alone in the world, Taichi can relate to the poor fox. After being examined it is discovered that the fox is not only blind, but deaf as well.
