Mrs. Varma gives birth to twins, Deva and Raja. A series of events separates Raja from his mother and brother. Mrs. Varma goes into shock and soon after is not able to walk, so she is confined to a wheelchair. The family moves to another country, but Deva falls into a lifestyle of alcoholism, as he grows older. He becomes sober and his mother wants him to marry. It is then that the twins meet by accident, and the events that occur afterwards change their lives forever. They discover the great differences in each other, but also discover that they have common grounds on which to build a relationship.
