In the movie "Humans vs. Zombies" from 2011, a group of college students find themselves facing a real-life game of zombies when a virus outbreak transforms their campus into a chaotic warzone. As the infection rapidly spreads, the surviving humans must band together to fight off the growing horde of undead while trying to stay alive and find a way to stop the outbreak before it's too late.

At the center of the story is a group of friends led by the confident and charismatic Tom (played by Frederic Doss), who sees the zombie apocalypse as the ultimate opportunity to prove his leadership skills and protect his loved ones. Alongside Tom is his girlfriend Vanessa (played by Dora Madison), who is reluctant to join in the fight but ultimately proves to be a valuable asset to the group. Rounding out the main cast is Megan (played by Melissa Carnell), a tough and resourceful survivor who takes charge when Tom's leadership becomes questionable.

Despite the film's low budget and amateurish production values, "Humans vs. Zombies" manages to deliver a surprisingly engaging and thrilling zombie story that will satisfy fans of the genre. The film's strength lies in its characters, who are well-developed and likable enough to make you care about their survival. The plot also does a good job of keeping you on your toes, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end.

One of the film's standout elements is the actual gameplay of the humans vs. zombies competition, which is cleverly integrated into the plot. Players who are "infected" by the virus become part of the zombie horde, which adds an interesting layer of strategy and suspense to the group's survival tactics. The film also employs some impressive practical effects and makeup work to create some truly gruesome and terrifying zombie creatures.

While the film certainly has its flaws, including some clunky dialogue and pacing issues, it's clear that the filmmakers had a lot of fun making this movie and their enthusiasm is infectious. "Humans vs. Zombies" is a fun and entertaining B-movie that should appeal to fans of the zombie genre and those looking for a light-hearted, action-packed thrill ride.
