Severed also known as Severed-Forest of the Dead is a Canadian horror film that is about a genetic experiment gone horribly wrong. The film takes place in a remote Canadian logging camp where a multinational forestry company is conducting a logging operation. In an effort to increase yields from its operations the company has conducted experiments on the trees to boost its lumber production. When a worker starts cutting the genetically altered trees the sap from the trees transforms him into a zombie.

Severed is a 2005 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 33 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.6.
