Tim Calahan is distressed when a project providing a haven for troubled kids is no longer being funded. His sister has been missing for years so it is personal for him. He is thrilled when a lawyer says an anonymous person wants to donate $3,000,000. When the lawyer is found dead, Tim needs his boyfriend, investigator Donald Strachey, to help him. The lawyer worked with the mob, and his father was also murdered. While trying to find the killer, Tim and Donald are being chased by people who want the money that they think Tim already has.
