Jaanwar is film that is about Babu, an orphaned boy who is corrupted by Sultan. He grows up to be “Badshah”. The film starts when Abdul and Badshah robbing a jewelry store. Later, he finds Sapna, a girl dancing and singing for money. Inspector Pradhan approaches Badshah and informs him that he knows he is responsible for the jewelry store robbery. Abdul and Badshah drive away but gets into an accident with the police and the inspector. Badshah helps the inspector, but the inspector tries to arrest him. The vehicles explode and injure Badshah. Sapna finds the injured Badshah and takes him home. Abdul removes a bullet form Badshah. Sapna tends to Badshah back to health. Sapna sleeps next to Badshah one night. Badshah is not sure of Sapna’s intent, thus he asks Sapna’s mother. This leads to an argument with Badshah and Sapna. Sapna’ s mother comes along, saying she has work for Sapna. When Sapna arrives to the place, a man rips off her clothes. Badshah then saves her. Abdul gets arrested. He is interrogated and tortured for answers on the whereabouts of Badshah. Badshah then tries to chase a man who is responsible for Abdul’s arrest. However, he finds a baby with high fever. Badshah brings the baby to Sapna where she takes care of him. She names him Raju. Seven years passed and Abdul is released from prison. Badshah is looking for a job and accidentally meets with Abdul. Badshah request Abdul to tell the sultan to leave him alone. The police find out about the truth about Raju, and that he must return to his real parents. Raju is not happy with his situation and wants to return to Badshah and Sapna. However, Sultan’s men capture him before he can return to Badshah and Sapna. Badshah then assault Sultan to save Raju. In the end, Badshah kills Sultan and Abdul. The last scene is about Abdul and Raju hugging. They both agree that it is best that he (Raju) with his real parents.
