The movie follows Jolene’s life for a span of ten years. The movie begins with the life she lived from the age of fifteen years old and the abuse from foster families. Jolene passes through many relationships as she travels across America with plenty of adventures and some misfortunes. Unfortunately, her misfortunes and bad decisions during her teen years put in an institution for young women. This pushes Jolene into a female relationship to reciprocate with another young to help their emotional needs and desires. This blossoming relationship is with Cindy played by the actress Frances Fisher. Jolene has a relationship with the character Sal played by the actor Chazz Palminteri. Sal is a mobster that lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jolene’s choices of future relationships later in life is not the greatest when she become involved with the character Brad played by actor Michael Vartan. Brad is a man of wealth however he is a psychopath when he has relationships with women. Jolene is on a quest to find someone to love her and have a happy home but at every corner she has a misfortune with men.
