Upon arriving at the hotel designed to accommodate senior citizens, Mrs. Palfrey trips and falls in the street and meets a man named Ludovic Meyer. While most people are mistaking Ludovic to be her grandson, the pair begin to get to know each other and spend lots of time together as well.
