- 1 hr 50 min
Demons exist in this ilusory creation, tormenting its human dwellers with appalling agony and suffering. Buddhist monk Xuan Zang is out to catch demons, but being so young, he feels that he is capable of anything including the power to refine demons through love. During a village attack he uses love to defeat the demon of the water. However the youngster’s faith is traumatized during the water demon attack as it resulted in many unexpected deaths, which unfortunately pleases the fearless and beautiful Miss Duan. Regaining some much needed confidence from his ruler, Xuan Zang continues his cause by searching for a demon hog aided by a group of demon trackers and Miss Duan, who now is infatuated with her friend Xuan Zang. The group comes close to capturing the hog, but it is proving difficult. Eventually the group heads on several Western adventures to rescue the commoners and compensate for their own evils. Along the way they are met with many odd characters, such as the withered Almighty Foot and Prince Important.
