As a result, when David begins a new relationship with a woman from his office, and she moves in with them, Emily is understandably troubled.
The new girlfriend, Susan (Played by Robert Parks-Valletta), is outwardly very sweet and caring toward David and Emily. However, as the story progresses, we learn more about Susan's rather shady past and how it eventually begins to impact David's life. As we watch David's life spiral desperately out of control, we also see how he grapples with the difficult issues of trust and suspicion, both towards Susan and his own daughter.
Throughout the movie, we see David's character change dramatically from an idealistic and loving father trying to keep his family together, to a paranoid and isolated individual struggling desperately to keep his sanity intact. Killer Single Dad offers a unique look at the twists and turns that life can take and how it can affect the relationships that we have with the people we love.
As the story progresses, we see David's desperation reach its climax, as he tries to get to the bottom of the mysteries surrounding Susan's lifestyle. As the story unfolds, we see David, Emily, and Susan getting more and more caught up in their own web of deciet, leading to a spine-chilling showdown between David and Susan.
