Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein is a 2002 romantic drama film directed by Ravi Shankar. The storyline revolves around two families who have been close friends since ages and their children falling in love with each other. The central characters of the story are Abhay (Fardeen Khan) and Mangala (Richa Pallod), who are childhood friends and classmates till their graduation. As Abhay is getting ready to propose to Mangala again, a tragedy strikes, and Mangala's father dies suddenly. Mangala, who is heartbroken by her father's loss, is forced to marry her cousin at her mother's insistence. Meanwhile, Abhay joins the Indian Army and goes on a mission to protect the country.

Years later, Abhay returns home after being severely injured in a war. He meets Mangala again, and their love is rekindled. However, Mangala is now a widow and has a young son, and she is hesitant to start a new relationship. Will they have a happy ending, or will the past come back to haunt them?
