Watch Last Ounce of Courage

Last Ounce of Courage is a movie with a message. Filmed in the beautiful San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado. Marshall Teague plays the part of Bob Revere the Mayor of Mount Columbus. He is also a decorated local war hero. When his son goes off to war Bob tells him to defend freedom with his last ounce of courage and to come home. Tragedy strikes, Bobs son is killed leaving behind his wife and son. Carrie Revere takes her son and moves to California. It is almost fourteen years later when Carrie brings Christian (Bobs grandson) back to Mount Columbus shortly before Christmas. Christian wants to know about his father. He questions why Christmas can’t be celebrated in school. He asks what his father died for and what Bob is doing about it. Christian is searching for answers, Bob decides to set a very important example for his grandson and honor what his son died for. In the process he becomes a hero for the second time in a way he never thought possible. Bob rises to the challenge from Christian, using his authority as mayor he decides to decorate town hall and have a Christmas Celebration. Attorney Warren Hammerschmidt threatens the town with a lawsuit, uses intimidation to have Bob removed as mayor, and any mention of Christmas done away with. Bob has risked everything for the right to publicly celebrate Christmas. It takes his last ounce of courage to place a cross on top of city hall. Throughout the struggle Bob and Christian both of whom have been mourning the loss of what might have been, realize their need for each other. Citizens of the town must choose sides and decide what each individually stands for. Last Ounce of Courage is about strength, Love, and forgiveness, in the face of adversity. It is about moving forward and getting beyond whatever the challenge.
