Mask Maker is a 2011 horror film that explores the idea of a faceless killer who makes masks from the skin of his victims. The film follows Jenna (Nikki Deloach) and her boyfriend, Trey (Stephen Colletti), as they embark on a cross-country trip to visit Jenna's family in rural Texas. Along the way, they stop at a gas station where Trey takes an interest in a strange old man who claims to be a mask maker. It soon becomes clear that the curse the old man warned Trey about is real, and that the only way to break it is to kill the mask maker and destroy all the masks he has created. As they work together to survive the mask maker's attacks, Jenna and Trey must also confront their own personal demons and decide whether their love for each other is strong enough to overcome the horrors they have witnessed. The film is filled with suspenseful and terrifying scenes, as well as a number of unexpected twists and turns. The performances of Deloach, Colletti, and Casanova are all solid, and the supporting cast does a great job of bringing the world of the film to life.
