Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas is a 2004 animated movie starring various beloved classic Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse (voiced by Wayne Allwine) and his friends Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo), Goofy (Bill Farmer), and Pluto. It is the sequel to the 1999 movie Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas. The movie consists of five segments of various lengths, each with a different plot and set of characters. In the opening scene, Mickey and Pluto are skating on a frozen lake, and they soon meet up with Donald, Daisy (Tress MacNeille), Goofy, and Max (Jason Marsden). After a friendly skating competition, they all gather around the Christmas tree to open presents and reminisce about past Christmases. The first segment, "Belles on Ice" features Minnie Mouse (Russi Taylor) and Daisy as figure skaters, preparing for a Christmas Eve performance. However, their competitive nature gets the best of them, and they end up ruining each other's routines. Eventually, they realize their mistake and come together to create a beautiful performance that captures the magic of Christmas. The second segment, "Christmas: Impossible" is a spy spoof starring Huey, Dewey, and Louie (all voiced by Jeannie Elias). The three young ducks are on a mission to retrieve a stolen Christmas wish list from a group of villains, but their plan goes awry. Luckily, Santa Claus (Chuck McCann) and his team of elves come to the rescue in a thrilling chase scene through the streets of New York City. The third segment, "Christmas Maximus" features Max Goof (Marsden) and his girlfriend Mona (Mona Marshall) as they visit Max's father, Goofy, for Christmas. Max is disappointed when Goofy's neighbor Pete (Jim Cummings) outshines his own dad with a showy Christmas display, but he soon learns that the true meaning of Christmas lies in spending time with loved ones. The fourth segment, "Donald's Gift" shows Donald struggling to find the perfect Christmas gift for Daisy. He tries various jobs to earn money, from shoveling snow to being a department store Santa, but things don't go as planned. In the end, he learns that the best gift he can give his beloved is his love and affection. The final segment, "Mickey's Dog-Gone Christmas" centers around Pluto and his mischievous antics. After ruining Mickey's Christmas decorations, Pluto runs away and ends up in a dog pound. Mickey and his friends embark on a rescue mission, and in the end, they all come together to celebrate their love for each other and the joys of the holiday season. Throughout the movie, viewers are treated to beautiful animation and classic Disney magic, including songs like "Jingle Bells" and "O Christmas Tree". The various segments all come together to make a heartwarming and fun Christmas movie that is perfect for the whole family.
