During the height of the Vietnam War, Colonel James Braddock is captured by North Vietnamese forces. But he manages to escape his captors and make his way back to American lines. Ten years later, Braddock is part of a U.S. delegation to Ho Chi Minh City whose mission is to track down American MIAs believed to still be captives of the Vietnamese government. However, the delegation's leader, Senator Porter, has serious doubts about the authenticity of these reports. A Vietnamese general also accuses Braddock of being a war criminal, further jeopardizing the delegation's mission. Not seeing any way to find the MIAs through diplomacy, Braddock takes matters into his own hands. He goes to Bangkok and teams up with a former Army buddy. Together they plan a daring raid on a camp allegedly holding American MIAs. The odds are against Braddock, but he is determined to expose the truth and follow one of the most sacred creeds of a soldier: leave no man behind.
