The Cutter is an action-adventure film that stars Chuck Norris. The film is about the kidnapping of an elderly jeweler who specializes in cutting diamonds. It is up to Chuck Norris’ character, John Shepard, to rescue the kidnapped cutter, and he initially fails to do so. John is filled with guilt over his failure to rescue the man. He decides to organize a specialized SWAT team in order to try the rescue again.

The person who has kidnapped the jeweler is a thief, and he is threatening to kill the man if he does not comply with his orders. John tries to find the kidnapped man and encounters a lot of difficulties and challenges along the way. He is forced to deal with the mafia, who want to capture the jeweler as well. The Mafia wants the jewel cutter because they believe he can help them with a mysterious piece of jewelry that was referred to in the Jewish scriptures. It is believed that this jewel is the source of much power, and the mafia wants to use the cutter to activate the jewel. The niece of the kidnapped jeweler first alerts John to his disappearance, and she does her best to help him solve the case.

The jewels that are missing are of particular importance to the Jewish faith, and the cutter is a Holocaust survivor. John realizes the importance of helping him and his family, so he does his best.

John is trained in martial arts, and he uses his fighting skills as a way to defeat all the bad guys that he comes across. John is forced to fight his enemies in a variety of different situations, including on a passenger bus and while using a hang glider. He also gets involved in the excavation of a mummy’s tomb.
