Mohre is a 1987 Indian thriller drama film directed by Dr. Biju under the banner of Geeta Arts. The movie stars Nana Patekar, Madhuri Dixit, and Sadashiv Amrapurkar in the leading roles. Mohre tells the story of a young woman who is determined to seek out and avenge her father's wrongful death. The film opens with Vicky (Nana Patekar) driving his car through the desert late at night. He hits a man on the road and kills him. However, he leaves the scene of the accident without reporting it to the police. The man he hit was Sardar Khan, a well-respected businessman who has a daughter named Sharda (Madhuri Dixit).

Sharda is heartbroken upon hearing of her father's death and seeks out Vicky to confront him. She wants to know why he left the scene of the accident without trying to help her father. However, Vicky initially denies any wrongdoing and claims that he was not involved in the accident.

Sharda refuses to give up and continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding her father's death. She discovers that Vicky was indeed responsible for the accident and that he is a wanted criminal who is on the run from the police.

As Sharda continues to track down Vicky, she is forced to confront her own demons and face the reality of her father's death. She also discovers that Vicky is not acting alone and that he is a part of a larger criminal organization.

The movie's plot is tightly woven and keeps the audience's attention throughout. Nana Patekar delivers an impressive performance as Vicky, portraying the character as both cunning and vulnerable. Madhuri Dixit is equally impressive as Sharda, displaying both strength and vulnerability in her role.

The film's supporting cast is also noteworthy, especially Sadashiv Amrapurkar, who plays the role of Sardar Khan's trusted aide. His performance is understated but powerful, and his character adds a layer of complexity to the movie's plot.

The cinematography in Mohre is also worth mentioning. The movie was shot on location in Rajasthan, and the desert landscape adds to the film's overall tone and mood. The camera work is both beautiful and haunting, adding to the sense of mystery and suspense that permeates the film.

Overall, Mohre is a well-crafted thriller that stands the test of time. While it may not be as well-known as some of the other films from that era, it is certainly worth watching for fans of Indian cinema. The performances are strong, and the plot is engaging and thought-provoking. If you are looking for a fast-paced drama with a twist, look no further than Mohre.
