Mooga Manasulu is a classic Telugu film released in 1964, directed by Adurthi Subba Rao and produced by D. Madhusudhana Rao. The film stars the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao and two of the most prominent actresses of the Telugu film industry, Savitri and Jamuna. The film revolves around a love triangle between the three main characters – Seetha (Savitri), Radha (Jamuna), and Anand (ANR). Seetha and Radha are good friends who live in the same neighbourhood. They come to know Anand, a young man who recently moved into the locality. Both women develop feelings for Anand, but he falls in love with Seetha and they get married.

As time passes, Seetha becomes increasingly possessive about Anand and starts to feel insecure about his love for her. She continuously doubts him and suspects his intentions whenever he interacts with other women. This, in turn, leads to a rift in their relationship. Meanwhile, Radha who is heartbroken by Anand's rejection, moves to a different city to start a new life.

The story takes an interesting turn when Seetha meets with an accident, bringing her back to reality and making her realize the true value of her relationship with Anand. Her accident lands her in the hospital where she undergoes treatment for her injuries. During this time, she reflects on how her obsession with Anand and her jealousy had clouded her judgment and led her to hurt him.

When Seetha makes a full recovery, she apologizes to Anand and decides to make amends. She also befriends Radha's younger sister, who helps her track down Radha. This leads to a reunion between Radha and Seetha, and they both reconcile their friendship. The film ends on a happy note with Seetha and Anand reuniting and their love rekindling.

The film is a classic example of excellent storytelling and well-executed performances by the lead actors. ANR, Savitri, and Jamuna have all given noteworthy performances, portraying their respective characters with the right amount of depth and conviction.

The music composed by Saluri Rajeswara Rao is another highlight of this film. The songs, especially 'Mooga Manasulu', 'Swapna Dine', and 'Kaala Rekha', are melodious and soulful. The lyrics written by Samudrala Raghavacharya beautifully reflect the themes and the emotions of the film.

In terms of cinematography, the film's visuals are stunning, capturing the beauty of the locations and the emotions of the actors. The film's editing was well executed, with smooth transitions and careful pacing that kept the audience engaged.

Overall, Mooga Manasulu is a timeless classic that explores the nuances of human relationships, love, and life. The film touches upon relevant themes such as possessiveness, jealousy, friendship, and forgiveness. It also serves as a reminder that relationships need to be nurtured with care, communication, and mutual respect.
