Night Fright is a science fiction horror movie released in 1967. Directed by James A. Sullivan, the movie tells the story of a small town in Texas that is visited by a terrifying creature. The movie opens with a group of teenagers taking a drive and running into car trouble. As they wait for help, they hear strange noises in the woods and catch a glimpse of what appears to be a large, hairy creature. They manage to escape and bring the story back to their town.

Soon after, a farmer reports his livestock has been killed and mutilated. The town sheriff begins an investigation with the help of a local reporter, but they cannot find any clues as to what is causing the gruesome attacks. As more people become victims of the creature, the town becomes increasingly terrified.

John Agar stars as Sheriff Clint Crawford, a no-nonsense lawman who is determined to protect his town from the unknown creature. Carol Gilley plays journalist Joanne Carlson, who is on assignment to cover the story and becomes involved in the investigation. Ralph Baker Jr. plays Danny, one of the teenagers who first encounters the creature and becomes a key witness.

As the attacks become more frequent, the sheriff and Joanne seek the help of a local scientist, Dr. Monet (Bill Thurman), who has been studying strange occurrences in the area. With his expertise, they are able to determine that the creature is an extraterrestrial being that has crash-landed on Earth and is now on the hunt for food to survive.

The tension builds as the creature targets more people, including the sheriff's own daughter. The townspeople band together to try and stop the creature, leading to a thrilling finale in which the alien is confronted in a climactic showdown.

Night Fright is a classic B-movie horror flick that features all the campy goodness of the genre. The low-budget special effects add to the charm of the film, and the performances are solid, if not award-winning. The suspenseful story keeps the audience engaged throughout, and the themes of fear and survival resonate even today. Overall, Night Fright is a fun, nostalgic trip back to the golden age of monster movies.

Night Fright is a 1967 science fiction movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.7.
