(1941, Pine-Thomas) Chester Morris, Jean Parker, Rose Hobart, Dick Purcell. Morris is a wise-cracking detective who finds a missing dame, marries her, then takes her on a trip to Reno to locate another missing person. What follows are great tongue-in-cheek encounters with all kinds of suspicious characters. There's even a few murders thrown in for good measure. A nice little B mystery from Paramount's Pine-Thomas unit. Good fun throughout. 16mm
