Buddy lives in Alabama with all his older cousins. Buddy's father, who has temporary custody calls for him to come and spend the holiday with him. Upon arriving, Buddy's father tries to impresses him with flashy possessions. On Christmas Eve his father throws a party with older women attending. Buddy realizes his dad lives the life of a playboy. Buddy is ready to go back to Alabama to be with his cousins, but not to be rude stays the holiday with his dad. His Christmas is shattered as he realizes his dad doesn't really know how to care for him.
