This film is a classic post-apocalyptic horror/sci-fi/fantasy set in California. A family on vacation outside Los Angeles are devastated to find that their city has just been obliterated by a nuclear bomb. Retreating into the wilderness, the family's patriarch thinks quickly, taking extreme action to ensure the survival of his family.
