Passenger 57 is an action thriller movie that was directed by Kevin Hooks, produced by Dan Paulson and distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures. It included an all-star cast with Wesley Snipes, Bruce Payne, Tom Sizemore, Alex Datcher, Bruce Greenwood, Elizabeth Hurley, Ernie Lively and Robert Hooks. International terrorist Charles Rane leaves a trail of dead bodies wherever he goes. As he is getting ready to under the knife to change the last of his distinguishable features, local authorities and the F.B.I. bust in. Now that he has been apprehended, all that is left is to fly him back to Los Angeles to stand trial. John Cutter was an excellent police officer, but that was before his wife was murdered in a botched convenience store robbery. Now he is just angry at the world and teaching self-defense classes to flight attendants, and he is not the easiest instructor to get along with; just ask flight attendant Marti Slayton. All that changes when an old friend offers him the vice-presidency of a new anti-terrorism program that he is starting up in his company, Atlantic International Airlines. It took a little convincing but now John Cutter is passenger 57 and heading to Los Angeles to start his new career. Cutter doesn’t realize that he is joined onboard by Charles Rane and his armed escorts. Right after the flight takes off, several men onboard pull out their guns and shoot the escorts. Now Charles Rane is set free, and they proceed to take over the plane. Now it is up to Cutter to take control of the plane again and get the passengers to safety. That’s when he notices that one of his students is onboard with him, and it just happens to be Marti Slayton. Time is running out, and he hopes that Marti will go along with his plan.
