"Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker" is an 81 minute long animated film and the sixth of such films within the Pokémon franchise. The film opens with an explanation of the Millennium Comet, a celestial event whose power is absorbed by Jirachi, a legendary monster gifted with the power to actualize the wishes of individuals, whom awakens for this event and disperses the absorbed energy in order sustain the Forina region's greenery. The film's antagonist, a magician named Butler, happens to come across the stone housing the legendary Pokémon and plans to use its power to resurrect the destructive "Continent Pokémon," Groudon.
