Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a movie about the Bennet family living in 19th century England. There are five sisters: Jane, Elizabeth, Kitty, Lydia and Mary. Their father has sent them all to China for martial arts and combat training. The girls’ mother desperately wants all her daughters married off to wealthy men. During a ball given by a neighbor, the young Mr. Bingley is instantly smitten with Jane. And during a zombie attack during the party, Bingley’s good friend Mr. Darcy becomes enchanted with Elizabeth after seeing her fighting skills against the horde.

Later, Elizabeth meets Mr. Wickham at another ball given by the Bingleys. Wickham is a very amiable soldier with the English army. There is another zombie attack and Elizabeth finds herself fighting alongside Mr. Darcy once again.

Wickham takes Elizabeth to meet more civilized zombies and wants her to help him form peace between these zombies and the Darcy family. The Darcys refuse and there is a battle pitting the undead against the zombie fighters.

The movie is a mix of romance and action and is a parody of the novel Pride and Prejudice.
