Brighton Rock is a British film noir style piece that follows a young gangster named Pinkie who aims to climb his way up the organized crime ladder. Rose, an innocent and pretty waitress, accidentally finds information linking him with a revenge killing. In an effort to keep her quiet, Pinkie tries to seduce her as her two watchful friends attempt to thwart him. The film is based on an acclaimed novel by Graham Greene written in 1939; however, they have moved the piece to take place in the 1960s where organized crime was in its prime in Great Britain.
