The Devil's Whore, also known as The Devil's Mistress is a lavish British historical drama that features a fictional story about a relationship that takes place during the 17th century English Civil War. This mini series features an epic story that moves from 1638 to 1660, and tells of the love between Edward Sexby and Angelica Fanshawe. The pair meet when Angelica's husband is shot on the orders of King Charles I, the traumatic events bring them, closer together as they search for justice from either the King or Oliver Cromwell.
