In the year 2012, the world is about to end. A strange phenomenon has occurred in space which has caused the sun to emit deadly radiation that is incinerating the earth. People are running for their lives, trying to find shelter from the intense heat waves and solar flares that are causing destruction around the globe. The main character, Andrew Lane played by Rhett Giles, is a scientist who has been working on a project to create a device that can save the world from the impending apocalypse. This device is called the Q E.D. or Quantum Entanglement Device, which has the ability to transport matter instantaneously through space and time.

Accompanied by his team including his wife, Marta (Stephany Jacobsen) and brother, Joseph (Stuart Lafferty), Andrew rushes to complete the Q E.D. before it's too late. Along the way, they encounter all kinds of obstacles that threaten to derail their mission including rogue government officials, treacherous weather, and dangerous occurrences that are taking place all around them.

As they struggle to complete the Q E.D. device, they realize that they are not the only ones working towards a solution. A group of survivors led by a man named Pearce (Jerry Lacy) have also developed a similar device with the intention of using it to transport themselves to another planet.

With time running out, both groups are forced to make tough decisions to try and save as many lives as possible. But will their efforts be enough to save humanity from the brink of extinction?

The suspenseful plot is filled with plenty of action and excitement, as well as emotional moments that tug at the heartstrings. The acting is solid, with strong performances from the main cast members, especially Rhett Giles who portrays the driven scientist on a mission to save the world.

The special effects are impressive, especially given this movie's modest budget. The post-apocalyptic setting is convincing, with scenes of cities in ruin and people scrambling to survive in a hostile environment.

Overall, Quantum Apocalypse is an entertaining and thrilling sci-fi movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. It's a great choice for fans of the genre who enjoy a good doomsday scenario with an interesting twist.

Quantum Apocalypse is a 2010 tv movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.0.
