In a small Minnesota town, a man is accused of committing a horrific crime that he has no memory of. Through regression therapy, he is able to get back some memory, and realizes that a second person was also implicated in the crime. Other townspeople start to remember abuse, and on a larger scale, across the nation. The authorities wonder if this is the result of Satanic ritual, or a phenomena of mass hysteria.
