Retro Puppet Master
- 1 hr 30 min
Retro Puppet Master is the seventh film in the long-running Puppet Master franchise. This film came out in 1999 and deals with the same subject matter as the other Puppet Master films. Each film has a group of puppets that somehow became alive and animated. Unfortunately, they are evil and spend most of the films killing the humans. The Puppet Master films are basically slasher films like the Jason films or the Nightmare on Elm Street films with puppets. Despite being the seventh film, this is supposed to be the origin story of the puppet masters and is also a prequel to the third film in the series. This is to be the definitive explanation of how the puppets were animated by a man named Andre Toulon. He learns how to animate the puppets from an Egyptian. The film was never shown in the theaters and went direct-to-video. The actor Guy Rolfe played Andre Toulon for the last time in this film.
