This is the story of Nim. Nim is a young woman who loves adventure and lives on an island. She is also a very honorable person. A boy from the city, Edmund, comes to the island. Nim soon learns that this boy, Edmund, has come to harm the animals living on the island. Nim is upset by this, but she decides to befriend the boy. Through their friendship, she finds out that an evil group is coming to the island. Nim's father has to leave the island to go on an important trip. Nim and Edmund are alone in trying to defend the island from the bad guys, and their evil plan. Their evil plan is to gather all the animals on the island and sell them. Nim and Edmund are so scared, and feel so alone being two kids against all the grown-ups. However, they find their courage and foil the bad guys' evil plot.
